This privacy policy explains to you the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on the website thecompanion.ch (hereinafter “website”) by the owner and provides information about your rights. These rights are governed by applicable data protection laws. 3.1. log files
My website is hosted by Webflow Inc. (398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, California, 94103, USA). In order to optimize and maintain the website, I log technical errors that may occur when accessing the website. In addition, when you use this website, information is automatically collected, which the browser on your device transmits to the host provider. These are: the IP address and operating system of your device, browser type, version, language, date and time of the server request, file accessed, the website from which access was made (referrer URL), the status code (e.g. 404) and the transfer protocol used (e.g. HTTP/2). This data is collected and stored by the host provider in order to be able to optimize processes and procedures, particularly in connection with the use of the website and the security and stability of the computer system. If you use my contact form, I will process your details from the request form to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. Use of Google reCAPTCHA
I use ‘Google reCAPTCHA’ (hereinafter ‘reCAPTCHA’) on my website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’. The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated programme. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website by the website visitor or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its website from abusive automated spying and SPAM.
